She received her B.S.E.S. in Entomology from the University of Georgia in 2013. Her research will seek to identify the volatile compounds emitted from material decomposed by black soldier fly larvae, <em>Hermetia illucens (<\/em>Diptera: Stratiomyidae). She is also interested in conducting behavioral research examining how black soldiers flies subsequently react to these compounds.
