JENNIE RHINESMITH-CARRANZA is a M.S. student in the FLIES Facility. She received her B.S. in Entomology and her B.A. in English – Creative Writing from Texas A&M University in 2013 and currently works full-time as an undergraduate academic advisor and program coordinator for the TAMU Department of Animal Science. Her research will explore the regurgitation and defecation behaviors of the blow fly Lucilia sericata in response to the quorum sensing compound indole and their ecological and forensic implications.
